Welcome to Tweels
So I’ve started a blog, finally. I’ve been blurking for a while on a few interesting blogs and decided it was time to start my own.
So who am I? Well to start, my name is Amir.
I live in Toronto, uptown, been here all my life, a Canadian at heart, but my background is Indian, if you must know.
In terms of my interests, I’m a bit of a car buff, hence the blog name
and for those of you that don’t know what tweels are, here is your intro to a tweel.
I’ve got 2 kids (boys) 4.5 and 2 yrs, Saif and Deen. Currently, I’m separated, and looks like divorce will soon follow, after a long marriage. I thought it would be a good idea to blog, and get stuff out when I need to. I don’t foresee an easy road ahead, especially with the kids, but I think they have adjusted well to the separation already, and as always they will be our main focus.
So that’s a little intro about me, I do hope you enjoy this blog, and I hope to make some new and interesting friends along the way.

Have you been blurking at my blog and WHY EVER HAVE YOU NOT COMMENTED? For shame! Welcome to the world of blogging. Am looking forward to reading your views on all things parenting, Canadian, Indian, Islam etc etc (although I will be skipping your car posts – definitely NOT a car buff.)

I clicked your comment and came here and was pleasantly happy to see my name on your blogroll! Blogging is a great way to get things out, you’ll enjoy it and certainly come across some interesting sites
“I live in Toronto, uptown, been here all my life, a Canadian at heart” ah, not too far from me, I’m liking this blog even more hehe. I’m your peaceful Mississauga neighbour lol .. but my heart is downtown and I’m more there than here.
P.S. I agree with Maryam, your children have beautiful names.

‘Liya: I do enjoy your writing and stories
Mississauga is not too far, been there many times. I think with kids the suburbs is a great place to be, but the housing market these days…eesh. Oh..and welcome to the blog

lost bedouin: wa salaam, thank you for sharing your blog. I will be reading and catching up
its been a dark place – I can understand that, its a very tough life choice and re-establishing life after the fact is a journey indeed.
In the meantime, I have a lot of reading to do. Take care.
