The monthly pass for me was close to $100, because I need a 2 zone pass. A book of 10 tickets is close to $20. I was telling a coworker about this stopping phenomenon, and he was telling me about a story in Edmonton. Its even worse there, his friend said to him, "yup, that's how it is here, if you want to cross the street, just walk up to the side of the road and stick your arm out, all traffic will come to a stop" haha. I find that time limit for the transport weird. Is it expensive? In Rome they had the same system for what I remember. Here you pay for your ticket of bus or underground or train and you just pay for what you will use, just to get to your destination. Our public transport system works really good and is not bad price, so I think I prefer it than to the time thingy lol.
